Family Fishing Picnic

Held annually on the first weekend in June, the SCCTU Family Fishing Picnic is our signature event and the highlight of the year for many in our community. Drawing crowds of up to 300 attendees, this fun-filled day brings together families, nature lovers, and fishing enthusiasts for a celebration of the outdoors.

With the help of over 60 dedicated volunteers, we offer a wide range of activities for all ages, including:

• Delicious food and refreshments

• Visits from beloved mascots

• Face painting and hiking adventures

• Knot tying and casting practice

• And of course, plenty of fishing!

This event wouldn’t be possible without the incredible support of our volunteers. Their time, energy, and enthusiasm make the Family Fishing Picnic a truly memorable experience for everyone who attends.
