Warren Miller, Assistant Treasurer

Warren was born and raised in Centre County and has spent his life enjoying all types of outdoor activities.   Being raised in rural Centre County, he spent his youth fishing, hunting and trapping the mountains and blue lines that are famous in north central PA.  Warren also took fly tying classes when he was attending the Bellefonte Middle School and had the privilege of learning from Tony Worrick, a great local flyman from the past.  A graduate of Bellefonte High School and Mansfield University with a degree in Criminal Justice Administration and Psychology.  Warren began his career working for Centre County in the Court of Common Pleas as a Probation and Parole Officer.  In 1990, an opportunity opened in the State College Borough Water Authority and in 2000 he became the Executive Director of the Spring Benner Walker Joint Authority where he spent the past 25 years.   Recently retired, Warren was always fascinated with honey bees and was the sole proprietor of the Happy Valley Honey Company, where for over 30 years he produced up to 3 tons of honey and hundreds of queen honeybees for sale annually.  As age has been trying to catch up with him he has scaled back the honey bee business and is looking forward to getting back on the streams to again enjoy the stream banks and tying bench like a kid again.
