Tom Garlow

Tom grew up in eastern Pennsylvania and spent the summers of his youth backpacking and hiking the great trails in this state. He and his wife Renee continue to seek out hiking and kayaking adventures together whenever possible. They love to travel together.

Many years ago Tom would spend football weekends at the Feathered Hook Bed and Breakfast with his sons and family where everyone fell in love with Fly Fishing. Since then, Tom continues to seek the great outdoors and solitude, especially on the remote Freestone Streams north of State College or out west in Oregon where his oldest son is an avid Steelheader.

Tom is a graduate of George Washington University in DC and served aboard the aircraft carrier, USS Dwight D. Eisenhower, way back in the 1980s. He and Renee are slowly relocating to State College where they plan to live into the sunset enjoying all the area has to offer.
