Tim was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA and only recently became a permanent resident of the State College area. In his childhood, Tim was first introduced to fishing through the good old worm and bobber with his Grandpa at a local lake. This later evolved into surf fishing down in the Outer Banks with his Grandpa and father (more fishing than catching). Fishing took a back seat in Tim’s life for quite some time until his best friend introduced him to a fly rod in 2016. Since then, Tim has been hooked and can be found most days in the spring on any given local stream with a fly rod in hand fishing with his wife.

Tim graduated from Penn State with a degree in Energy Engineering and a minor in Energy Business and Finance, and now works at a local engineering firm that focuses on energy sustainability for commercial buildings. Through the last several years, Tim’s love of the outdoors and has grown through the countless days spent on the water figuring out what fly to put on his line. This, in turn, has fostered an immense amount of respect for the environment and a passion to preserve it for future generations to enjoy. For Tim, nothing beats a warm spring day on a quite stretch of stream where he can get lost in the focus of the rhythmic rising of a lone hungry trout.
