Sam Hume

Sam grew up in a military family that moved frequently and learned to enjoy the outdoors and fishing in a wide range of geographic settings. He moved to State College in 2016 and shortly thereafter rekindled his enjoyment of fly fishing. Sam works as the VP, Data Science for a global clinical research non-profit. He is a Penn State grad and has a doctorate in Information Systems.

Sam relishes the time spent on Spring Creek and other Central PA streams. He’s grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the preservation of these wonderful natural resources. In addition to fishing Sam enjoys hiking and traveling with his wife Kathy.
